These layered mixed-media collages began on a long train journey from southern Spain to Paris. Having just finished a paperback novel and feeling an irresistible urge to create, I began drawing directly onto its pages. That spontaneous moment sparked an ongoing exploration of vintage book pages, watercolor, ink, and collage, transforming text and imagery into intricate works that invite viewers to discover hidden words, patterns, and depth. A small suspended metal form—my “drone”—appears within each piece, serving as a subtle, constant presence inspired by a childhood spent moving from place to place.
